Polypropylene strapping for cartons, bundles and palletised loads — for when a shipment needs more than tape alone can hold. Available from Kolkata since 2007, with high tensile strength and good elongation, compatible with both hand tensioners and strapping machines.
BOPP tape bonds to a surface and does a good job sealing a carton shut — but it isn't built to bear real mechanical load. PP strap is a high-tensile polypropylene band pulled tight under tension, distributing load-bearing force across the strap instead of relying on adhesive. For palletised cartons, bundled goods and heavy or irregular loads, tape and strap work together rather than one replacing the other.
